From its founding in 1986 until the end of 2005, Mercedes-Benz China Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Daimler AG, had been servicing customers in the Northeast Asia region. It was the franchise holder for all imported Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicle products in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR.
Since January 3rd 2006, Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Limited was officially established and responsible for the import and distribution of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, commercial vehicles as well as parts in Hong Kong and Macau. In close co-operation with its exclusive dealer Zung Fu Company Limited, the company actively performs sales and after-sales activities to further cement the foundation for growth in Hong Kong and Macau.
At present Mercedes-Benz has nine outlets (three showrooms and six workshops) in Hong Kong, two (one showroom and one workshop) in Macau. All of these outlets are located in convenient districts to provide unsurpassed sales and services to customers in the Special Administrative Regions.
