Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Limited brought customers to attend the AMG Ultimate Thrill Drive 2008 at Zhuhai International Circuit last month. Over 70 participants had the chance to experience this incredible Mercedes-Benz journey of on-track excitement and driving training by AMG specialists. |
| Impressive Handling and Performance |
During the event, participants were given a wide variety of AMG models to drive, including the E 63 AMG, S 65 AMG, ML 63 AMG and G 55 AMG and the latest CLS 63 AMG, that enabled them to gain better understanding of different AMG high performance vehicles. After normal lap practice on the track, the participants were taught to handle slaloms and cornering with guidance of the seasoned AMG tutors.
The licensed AMG instructors conveyed their wealth of knowledge in a highly professional manner, which combined learning with driving enjoyment and passion.

| Ultimate Speed Fascination |
One of the event highlights was the AMG dynamometer experience. The participants could experience the ultra speed of the new CLS 63 AMG on dynamometer. The full throttle acceleration gave the drivers a healthy dose of adrenaline and fascination, pushing the powerful model to the very limit in a 100% safe fashion. At the heart of the vehicle is an AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine, delivering a peak output of 514 hp.
The unrivalled Taxi Ride by AMG tutors concluded the Ultimate Thrill Drive event which gave the participants an impressive and thrilling memory.
