On the eve of Macau Grand Prix race day, Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong, along with star drivers Maro Engel and Edoardo Mortara, unveiled the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S Coupé. Also on display poolside at The Venetian Macao was the Mercedes-AMG GT3, Mercedes-AMG E 63 S, Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 and the Mercedes-AMG C 43 Cabriolet.
The cars were unveiled in front of 200 guests, who heard from the two Mercedes-AMG drivers competing in the FIA GT World Cup. Both of whom have already achieved tremendous success on Macau’s challenging Guia street circuit: Maro Engel, a two-time Macau GT Cup winner and the inaugural FIA GT World Cup champion; and Edoardo Mortara, who has earned the moniker “Mr. Macau” for his five victories in Macau’s F3 and GT races.
“We have brought unique excitement and experiences to the Macau Grand Prix for the past three years. This year, we don’t only bring in the excitement of race cars to Macau, we also bring in additional excitement from our Mercedes-AMG range to the market with the GLC 63 S Coupé” said Andreas Binder, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Ltd.
