Hosted by Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Limited, the MercedesTrophy Hong Kong 2019 was successfully held on 24 May (Friday) at The Hong Kong Golf Club Fanling Courses. This is the eleventh year for this prestigious amateur golf tournament in Hong Kong and a total of 124 amateur golfers attended the event to compete for four division’s prizes and six Special Hole awards including Hole-in-One award. All participating golfers had advanced to the MercedesTrophy Hong Kong 2019 through the qualifying tournaments held by its long-term partner, The Hong Kong Golf Association.

On the event day, players were showing their unbeatable determination under the nice weather to be one of the seven Hong Kong representatives in the MercedesTrophy Asian Final 2019, which will be held in August this year in Sanctuary Cove, close to Gold Coast in Australia. On the golf course, Mercedes-Benz showcased various models including Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-Door Coupé, S 450, C 300 Cabriolet, C 300 Coupé and the “Hole-inone” award car, Mercedes-AMG A 35, with a retail price of HK$568,000. Of the seven finalists, the top-scoring Mercedes-Benz owner at the MercedesTrophy Asian Final 2019 will represent Hong Kong at the MercedesTrophy World Final in Stuttgart, the “Home of the Automobile”, and compete with golfers from all over the world between 30 September and 5 October.
