No. The 48V battery charges automatically while driving through energy recuperation. There is no need to plug in or change your daily driving routine.
The 48V hybrid system supports the petrol engine with additional electric power, helping improve fuel efficiency, deliver smoother acceleration and enhance driving comfort.
The system recuperates energy during braking and coasting, stores it in the 48V battery and reuses it to support the engine when needed, helping maximise efficiency.
Yes. Intelligent Hybrid is particularly beneficial in stop-and-go traffic, where the system can optimise energy usage and support the engine for smoother and more efficient driving.
Not at all. The electric motor provides additional torque during acceleration, helping deliver a more responsive and effortless driving experience.
An Intelligent Hybrid uses a 48V battery that charges automatically while driving and does not require external charging. A Plug-in Hybrid features a larger battery that can be charged externally and offers longer electric driving capability.
In Hong Kong, Intelligent Hybrid technology is available in selected models, including the all-new CLA Intelligent Hybrid and GLB Intelligent Hybrid.
