More safety and comfort.

Accidents caused by human error could be reduced in the future by fully automated driving. The driver can be relieved in strenuous situations with high traffic volumes.

More time for other things.

Fully automated driving would allow you to use the time you would otherwise spend behind the wheel the way you want to. This means that in future the car will also be a private retreat for working, reading or sleeping, which can offer you more freedom than ever before.

Automated Valet Parking.

Our vision: Get out at your destination while finding a parking space and parking are taken care of by the vehicle. In the future, parking will thus become a fully automated experience that can noticeably relieve the strain on you if the infrastructure is suitable.

Mobility for all.

Whether young or old, with or without a driving licence - people with limited mobility could also gain access to mobility in the future through autonomous driving.

Efficient and environmentally compatible.

Fully automated driving can reduce traffic congestion. The networking and communication of vehicles and infrastructure will lead to less congestion and better traffic flow in the future. This means no constant braking and restarting.

Level 1 - Assisted Driving

The driver must always be in full control of the vehicle, but can be assisted with longitudinal or lateral guidance by driving assistance systems, e.g. distance control cruise control or Lane Keeping Assist.

Level 2 - Partially automated driving

Here, too, the driver must always be in full control of the vehicle, but can be assisted during the journey by a combination of individual driving assistance systems or during parking operations for lateral and longitudinal guidance.

Level 3 - Conditionally automated driving

The system takes over dynamic driving tasks under certain conditions. However, the driver must be able to take control of the vehicle at any time (with a few seconds' lead time), especially if prompted to do so by the system (example: DRIVE PILOT).

Level 4 - Highly automated driving

The system can independently master all traffic situations under certain boundary conditions (e.g. selected roads, not in all weather conditions). Depending on the application, at times even a driver is no longer necessary (e.g. Automated Valet Parking, passenger shuttle).

Level 5 - Fully automated driving

The system in the vehicle can handle all driving tasks completely automatically under all conditions, including complex traffic situations. There is no longer a driver, only passengers. However, there is still no legal framework for autonomous vehicles.
